Greek mythology

I learned some Greek mythology in the world tour in history this week. I’m going to tell  about my favorite part in the world tour so far.  It is the story of Theseus and the Minotaur.

The beginning of the story starts in Athens and king Aegeus watching the black sails of his ships .   He had a son.   His name was Theseus.  For unknown reasons Theseus and his mother lived outside of the city walls.  When he grew up he had a mission to kill the Minotaur.   When it came to that time his father Aegeus told him when he killed the Minotaur to put up white sails so that he could know that he was OK. Theseus got to his place safely.   The next day he fell in love with the princess.   He killed the Minotaur and thought he could get the princess but he did not know that one of the gods took her already.  His heart was broken.   He left forgetting to put on the white sail. His father saw the black sail and thought his son was dead.  He had so much sorrow that he jumped off the cliff  and died.

Now I think that this  is a cool story.  Not me or my teacher knows if this is a true story or not.
